Super informative and way easier than the "free" course which was so extensive it was prohibitive. This course was relatively simple and stuck to the info that was needed to pass the state test and be a safe , responsible boater . The course had fun easy to understand animation that was helpful , wholesome and made the course almost enjoyable, The free course put out by the dept. of boating and waterways seemed intimidating due to the overload of information but the Safe2Boat.com course really was the cheapest and easiest course out there by just sticking to the basics

Site is easy set up, course comprehensive and easy to navigate. No time limit for completion. Reading timer was a little annoying, but it was a good break even for a few seconds! Would recommend this site for boater card!

What an easy process .
Good stuff.
I had several options in completing this.
I heard this was great way of getting it done & I believe it was..

Easy and straightforward. My only critique is at the end of the final it should explain that the Government official temporary boater card would be emailed automatically since I registered prior. I printed a certificate that isn’t official when you’re on the water.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COURSE TO ANYONE THAT I CARE ABOUT. IT WAS POSSIBLY THE WORST COURSE THAT I'VE EVER TAKEN ONLINE. IF YOU DON'T PASS A QUIZ, YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE ENTIRE SECTION OVER AGAIN? REALLY? IS THAT REALLY GOING TO HELP ANYONE, OR IS IT JUST GOING TO FORCE US TO SIT THROUGH ANOTHER 60 MINUTES OF RIDICULOUS SLIDES? ALSO, INSTEAD OF PUTTING A 2 MINUTE TIMER ON A PAGE THAT ONLY HAS ONE PARAGRAPH AND A PICTURE, HOW ABOUT HAVING SOME COMMON SENSE?
MAYBE PUT A LITLE TIME INTO YOUR PRODUCT AND FIGURE OUT THAT MOST PEOPLE CAN READ A PARAGRAPH IN LESS THAN 30 SECONDS. MAYBE YOU CAN PUT A SHORTER TIME LIMIT ON THE SHORT SLIDES AND LONGER TIME LIMITS ON THE LONGER SLIDES. JUST A THOUGHT, BECAUSE I DON'T THINK ANYONE HAS 4 EXTRA HOURS IN THEIR DAY TO SPEND LEARNING HOW MANY POUNDS AN INFANT PDF IS RATED FOR. THIS COURSE WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND I WISH I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN ANOTHER COMPANY TO GET MY BOATER ID CARD THROUGH.

Safe2boat training program was great. Their website, instruction and flow was easy to follow. They walked you through entire course and made it as easy as possible to complete. Linking the state site to their site to add your boater ID registration number was nice. Sending the completed course to the state to complete your license is also awesome. It’s basically one stop shop. You study, pass test, and your license is mailed to you.
I even appreciated the effort they put into their follow up emails, they added humor folks!
The course information was spot on for the boating basics you should know.
Be safe out there, and be good to other boaters!

Horrible customer service. I paid for the course, passed the course and never received my card. GOOD luck getting help.
